When you do not wish to experience unnecessary drama and stress in your life, you must know about the four basic personality styles. Learning different personality styles helps you to deal with people professionally and personally. Additionally, learning different personality styles helps you to develop a better and improved personality to achieve goals.
In this blog, I have covered negative and positive traits of 4 basic personality styles to help you in dealing with different personalities in the workplace and personally as well. So, let’s get started.
Four Personality Styles
1.The Go-Getter
The basic trait of “The Go-Getter” is that they are high achievers. The people who are well-organized, ambitious, and competitive come in the “The Go-Getter” trait. Such people know how to use time efficiently and wisely. The Go-Getters love to achieve goals and are proactive in being part of any kind of competition.
Sometimes, The Go-Getters are also referred to as workaholics and they love to work under deadlines. They help others when they are done with helping themselves. These types of people are more prone toward success and growth. Such people also love to push themselves out of their comfort zone.
Failure or ups and downs are a part of life. Due to certain circumstances, The Go-Getters are likely to get stressed, depressed, and anxious. Moreover, they are highly dissatisfied with their jobs and always feel like they deserve more. These people are also never satisfied with their relationship and health. Additionally, such people are status-conscious. If you are dating them, note that they do not like to wait.
2.Social and Relaxed
As per the tag, such people are social and calming personalities. They are consistent and always ready for difficult times. This means they know how to tackle difficult situations. They are influencing personalities; such people have the ability to calm others as well. Maybe this is the reason they are more grounded and peaceful.
They have a great social life which shows that they are tolerant as well. They can pick up other emotions easily. Profession for such people is writing, providing therapy, and acting.
Negative point about social and relaxed people is that they are procrastinators and lazy. But whatever they do, they do it perfectly.
3.The Perfectionist
The perfectionists and the go-getters are of huge difference, so don’t confuse the two. Perfect people with doing everything perfectly are perfectionists. They are excellent at whatever they do. They are reliable and consistent. Perfectionists always strive for perfection and excellence. The perfection and accuracy in their tasks are time-taking, they do everything slowly.
Disturbance makes them aggressive and anxious. Such people are highly prone to OCPD (obsessive-compulsive personality disorder). Perfectionists do not like to break the rules; disruption causes frustration and stress in them. The great thing about perfectionists is that other people cannot fool them over emotions, they think logically.
4.Sensitive and Distressed
Such people are so prone to negativity. Sensitive people always think negatively which causes distress in them.
The positive aspect of sensitive and distressed people is that they are warm personalities; they respect the emotions of other people as well. They are fairly resilient and always work under security. They love to give advice and emotional support. Such people have the trait of “never give up” personality. No matter how weak they show, they are always resilient and strong from inside.
The only bad thing about sensitive and distressed people is that they carry pessimist personality with them.
