Learning Mindfulness: How to take a Mindful Coffee Break
Shoutout to all the coffee lovers in the house!!
To be honest, I was not a coffee lover but when I started building my career, stress took over my physical and mental health. Coffee is such a mood booster, stress reliever, and energizes the body instantly. But along with this, coffee breaks bring out the most peaceful moments in life.
The actual minutes that go by taking the sip of the coffee are the moments that reflect mindfulness. Even the coffee brewing process is a mindful activity. Tasting different varieties and flavors can also be mindful if done correctly. If you do not believe in brewing coffee on your own, sitting in a café and sipping a cup of freshly brewed coffee is also a mindful task to do.

Multitasking, the modern world, and mindfulness
The very first thing we need to understand these modern times is forces about our future, instead of living in the present. The modern world does not allow us to enjoy the present moment. And multitasking is the new major role that we need to keep with us all the time. Multitasking is not a bad thing, until and unless you get yourself stuck in it so bad that it begins to impact your mental health and physical health.

And, a mindful coffee break is something that helps us to hang in there in reality, the modern world, and multitasking.
Practicing mindfulness with coffee
As a writer and a student, when I started studying mindfulness, I found that practicing mindfulness is not a tough thing to do, it’s just you need to relax and live in the moment. To practice mindfulness, a cup of freshly brewed coffee can be your partner. I suggest not sip coffee as a booster. I suggest using it as fuel, do not go fast, living in the moment, relaxing, rejuvenating, and trying to enjoy each and every sip of the coffee.

How to take mindful coffee breaks
It is really not important to have an expensive cup of coffee in lavish café’s. All you need to find is a peaceful place and the perfect moment to practice mindfulness. Like, sometimes I randomly invite my neighbor over the garden fence to have a cup of coffee with me. I must say she is a great listener and really an inspiring personality.
Similarly, you can also enjoy your cup of coffee whenever and wherever you like to. If you like to enjoy your “me-time” sip it alone. If you want someone to join, invite them over. Do not let your inner demons speak and do whatever makes you feel happy. Make sure, you’re doing whatever you like; it brings out most of the benefits of mindfulness.
