There are no huge and complex strategies to stop stress dreams from happening. All you need to do is attend to your stress but do not let stress attend you. The reins should be in your hands and here’s how you can do that;
- Learn stress management techniques: the main cause of having stress dreams is being in stress for a prolonged period of time. If you want your stress dreams to stop, learn stress management techniques so that you can reduce the influence of stress on you.
- Have a better sleep schedule: being able to sleep peacefully is very, very important but stress dreams make it impossible. Therefore, it’s important to have a good sleep routine. For Eg. no screen time before bed, keeping the lights dim, finishing dinner at least 2-3 hours before bedtime, etc.
- Journal before bed: the reason you’re experiencing stress dreams is that your thoughts are full of stress and letting them out before you sleep is important. By journaling, you will be able to let go of your stressful thoughts and you’ll be able to get clarity before you sleep.

- Meditate before you sleep: meditation can help you get into a zen mode, helping you overcome stressful thoughts. Meditation will not only help you sleep better but also help you manage stress better.
